Dahnesh Medora has served as a consultant, trainer and coach to community based and social justice organizations for more than 17 years. Interested in the ways in which culture and organizational development connect, Dahnesh has expertise in areas such as leadership development, strategic planning and cross-cultural effectiveness. Dahnesh currently serves at Education Northwest in Portland, Oregon as Senior Advisor for the Social Innovation Fund, a national capacity building program of the Corporation for National and Community Service. He previously served as Director of Programs and Senior Consultant for the Nonprofit Association of Oregon and as a lead consultant with the National Community Development Institute in Oakland, CA providing capacity-building to organizations working primarily in communities of color. Dahnesh also worked at the Tides Foundation in San Francisco and has worked in many issue areas including immigrant rights, environmental justice, and LGBT justice both in the US and abroad.
