Terrill is the founder and principal of CTThompson Consulting, an organization development consulting business that specializes in increasing the effectiveness of progressive nonprofit organizations by exposing them to a range of proven organization development techniques and practices. Terrill has an open and collaborative approach that respects and builds upon clients' expertise. In addition to running CTThompson Consulting, Terrill is an associate diversity consultant with The Kaleidoscope Group, LLC, an associate consultant with the Nonprofit Center at La Salle University, an associate moderator with the Penn Project for Civic Engagement, and an associate leadership and teambuilding facilitator with Fellowship Farm. He also serves on the board of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, is a member and former chair of the Delaware Valley Legacy Fund's Outreach and Grantmaking Committee, and is a member of the Institute for Inclusion and the NTL Institute. Terrill is a qualified administrator and interpreter of the Myers-Briggs Personality Type Indicator® (MBTI) assessment and is the author of the Nonprofit Organizational Model©, an organizational assessment and strategic planning model designed specifically for nonprofit organizations. He is also the published author of The Struggles, Experiences and Needs of Children in LGBTQ Families.
Terrill earned a Master's Degree in Organization Development from American University, where he received a Segal-Seashore Fellowship in recognition of his academic standing and commitment to social justice. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Peace and Global Studies from Earlham College.
