The Skill to Guide:  An Introduction to Using the Drucker Foundation Self-Assessment Tool 

Presenters:  Peggy Morrison Outon, Bayer Center for Nonprofit Management, Robert Morris University; Gary Stern, Stern Consulting International Inc.

This workshop introduces a strategic planning framework for consultants and facilitators who work with nonprofit organizations.  Cost of the session includes the "Drucker Foundation Self Assessment Tool Workbook and Process Guide" and "Learning Styles Inventory."  [Cost: $45]

 

Meeting the Collaboration Challenge: How to Help Nonprofits Identify Partnerships with Businesses 

Presenter: Doug Franklin, President & Chief Executive Officer of the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America

This workshop presents a simple, universal process that helps nonprofits establish and maintain alliances with businesses.  Cost of the session includes The Collaboration Challenge by James Austin and the "Meeting the Collaboration Challenge" workbook.  [Cost: $45]

People of Color Affinity Group Meeting

The POC Affinity Group will gather for a stimulating dialogue about multi-ethnic collaboration among and across communities of color. Our emphasis is on how the four major ethnic groups of color in the United States today can work together effectively in the process of creating social change--starting with nonprofit capacity building.  No additional cost, Alliance membership required.
