Presenter: Alice Collier Cochran, The Cochran Group
Board members of nonprofits, and MSOs or consultants who assist them, are often confronted with "Robert's Rules of Order" as the meeting method stated in the Bylaws. This method was written over 125 years ago and was intended for "deliberative assemblies," not small boards. Participants will be introduced to "Roberta's Rulels of Order," a powerful synthesis of tested meeting methods that have evolved in a pluralistic society and are more appropriate for nonprofits in this century.
Presenter: Anne Howden, LarsonAllen Public Service Group
