Goals

The goals of the annual conference include focusing on the above theme; and,

1. Identify innovative conference programming that will offer “best practices” in capacity building, governance, nonprofit leadership and management
   
   
2. Provide opportunities for personal and professional development
   
   
3. Provide sessions and programs featuring new ideas/trends
   
   
4. Feature content leaders of color/different ethnic backgrounds
   
   
5. Provide more interaction of attendees in sessions
   
   
6. Offer a variety of learning formats
   
   
7. Continue to provide Alliance members, sponsors and exhibitors  with an environment for building connections and relationships
   
   
8. Continue to educate the nonprofit sector and community leaders on the importance of capacity building and cultural competency
   
   
9. Prepare young and emerging professionals for the future
   
   
10. Promote the mission and values of the Alliance for Nonprofit Management
