Alliance for Nonprofit Management (Alliance) is governed by a board of directors.  Its national offices are located in Washington, DC and are managed by an Executive Director/CEO and staff.  The Alliance Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the organization and its policy, fiscal and otherwise.

To ensure a strong, vibrant organization relevant to the nonprofit sector and capacity building field; and one that can effectively champion the well-being of the nonprofit sector by increasing the effectiveness of individuals and organizations that help nonprofits build their power and impact, it is imperative that a competent Board is in place to lead the organization.
